We listen, act, and transform
Great to Meet You – and Welcome!
As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe in the power of early intervention. Identifying and addressing mental health concerns in childhood and adolescence can change the trajectory of a young person’s life—giving them the best possible foundation for happiness, resilience, and long-term well-being.
My educational journey includes a BS from SUNY Stony Brook, a BSN from MCPHS University, an MSN from Hunter College, and completion of the CHC, Inc. Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. This training, combined with years of experience, shapes the thoughtful, patient-centered care I provide.
My Approach to Treatment
Patients often describe my style as down-to-earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I view you as an active member of your treatment team—we work side by side to determine what works best for you. When medications are part of the plan, I aim for the lowest effective dose and the simplest regimen possible, always prioritizing your well-being.
What to Expect in Our First Session
Our time together is a judgment-free space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported. In that first session, we’ll explore the areas that matter most: medication compliance and adherence, school and academic challenges, family dynamics, peer relationships, and other factors that may be impacting your mental health. From there, we’ll build a personalized treatment plan designed to help you thrive.
